|My name is Liz. I live in Santa Clara, California with my husband. I work full time in the computer industry as a system administrator.|
I’m a craft-a-holic. My motto, “Busy Hand, Happy Heart”. My husband says I would sit and craft all day if I could, and he’s probably right. So many wonderful things to make, so little time. I started this blog as a way to share what I’m doing with my friends and crafting counterparts. Here’s a list of what I enjoy:
My needlework background….
Although I was introduced to free-style/surface embroidery in the 9th grade, I am a self taught cross stitcher. I have been an avid stitcher for over 13 years now. I primarily work in cross stitch, but over the years have tried my hand at and enjoy blackwork, hardanger, drawn thread work, needlepoint, tatting and other specialty stitches. I’m always looking to learn new stitches and techniques.
My quilting background….
I took my introduction to quilting back in 1999 and have been an avid quilter since. I may not have continued with it if the outcome of the class hadn’t introduced me to a wonderful group of quilters who have become very close friends. I have learned much from this group of wonderful ladies.
